At April & June Travel, we believe in transparency. Here’s how our booking process and service fees work:
Book Through Our Affiliate Links – No Extra Cost
- When you book directly through our affiliate links (Expedia, Booking.com, Viator, and others), you pay the same price as shown on the supplier’s website.
- We may earn a small commission from our travel partners, but there are no extra charges for you.
Agency-Assisted Bookings (via Expedia & Other Suppliers)
If you’d like us to handle your booking personally, including flights, hotels, cruises, or vacation packages, we apply a small service fee in addition to the supplier’s price.
Service Fee Structure:
- Hotel/Resort Bookings (via Expedia TAAP): 3–6% of the total booking value
- Flight-Only Bookings: Flat fee from $30–$50 CAD per ticket (since flights do not pay commission)
- Vacation Packages (Flight + Hotel, Cruise + Hotel, etc.): 3–6% of the package total
- Group or Custom Travel Planning: Quoted individually, based on trip complexity and support required
Why Service Fees Apply
- Expedia and other suppliers may pay us a commission (usually 5–12% for hotels/resorts).
- Our 3–6% agency fee helps cover the time, expertise, and personalized support we provide, including:
- Searching for the best deals
- Handling changes or cancellations
- Providing after-booking customer support
Important Terms
- Service fees are non-refundable, even if the trip is cancelled.
- Fees are due at the time of booking.
- All bookings follow the supplier’s cancellation, refund, and change policies.
